Find the lawyer who's already won a case like yours

Sabermetrics changed baseball by replacing gut feelings with data. We're doing the same thing for personal injury law across 22 states.

It started with a bad experience

When someone close to me got into a car accident, the injury was serious. The medical bills were piling up. And we needed a lawyer.

So we did what everyone does. Googled “car accident lawyer near me.” Got a wall of ads. Every firm claimed to be the best. Every website had the same stock photos, the same vague promises, the same “free consultation” button.

Here's what we couldn't find anywhere: which lawyers had actually handled cases like ours. Not who spent the most on advertising. Not who had the most five-star reviews from people whose situations we knew nothing about. We wanted to know who had taken a case with the same injury, in the same county, against the same insurance company, and actually won.

That information existed. Insurance companies had it. Big law firms had it. The only people who didn't have it were the ones who needed it most.

That felt wrong. So we started building.

The insight

The Moneyball problem in law

Before sabermetrics, baseball teams picked players on gut instinct. Scouts watched a guy swing and said “he looks like a hitter.” Teams spent millions on players who looked the part but couldn't perform.

Then someone started looking at the data. On-base percentage. Slugging percentage. Splits against left-handed pitchers. The numbers revealed what the eye couldn't see: some players who looked average were actually elite in specific situations.

Personal injury law has the same problem.

Some lawyers are great at soft tissue cases but average at traumatic brain injuries. Some crush it in Dallas County but struggle in rural venues. Some consistently outperform on cases involving commercial trucks but are middle-of-the-pack on standard rear-end collisions.

You'd never know any of this from their website. But it's all there in the case data.

What we actually track

Not opinions. Not ratings. Outcomes.

Cases / tracked

Real case outcomes, not marketing claims

We track actual settlements and verdicts from public filings across 22 states. Not what a lawyer says they can do. What they've actually done.

Injury / matched

Matched to your injury type

A lawyer who's great at whiplash cases might be average at spinal injuries. We break down track records by injury, so you can find someone who's handled your exact situation before.

Perf. / measured

Performance you can measure

Average settlement amounts. Case volume. How they compare to other attorneys handling the same types of injuries. The numbers tell the story.

Data / for you

Transparency the industry doesn't want

Insurance companies have this data. Law firms have this data. The only people who don't? The injured person trying to make the biggest decision of their recovery.

Our mission

The right lawyer changes everything

The difference between the right lawyer and the wrong one isn't just money. It's months of your life. It's stress during recovery. It's the difference between a settlement that covers your medical bills and one that actually accounts for what happened to you.

We believe you shouldn't have to get lucky. You should be able to look at the data, see who has a track record with your type of case, and make an informed choice.

That's what Verdictly is building. Not a lawyer directory. Not a review site. A data platform that gives injured people the same information advantage that insurance companies have had for decades.
